This project required that we build two websites with similar functionality – a library of written works that were organized by seasonal collection, by genre, and by author. The homepage of each site displays stories from the latest collection in a magazine-style layout. On at least one of the websites, the owners had previously been creating static HTML pages for each of the pieces on the website and manually linking pages together. Utilizing WordPress custom post types, custom taxonomies, and a handful of custom fields, we were able to give them a dynamically-updating platform that keeps all of their works organized and saves them a ton of time with each release.
